A few weeks ago I received an interesting message on chictopia from Dollhouse Jeans. They said they were going to use photos of me wearing their jeans for their web blast. Last night I went for dinner/drinks with my friends, it was a good time but we all got tired really early and I went to bed before midnight. This morning I got up and headed to breakfast with my friends then we went to our university's football game. That lasted about an hour before we decided it was too hot and left. Halloween is tonight! Off to a haunted house then to a party tonight...

Happy Friday! I'm enjoying a light reading load weekend, but probably a little too much, I should be working on some stuff that is due soon but I decided to take a me day today. I took my little girl to the vet at 9, came home and watched a movie, then went to lunch with my mom at our favorite salad place then did a little shopping at Loehmann's. I mainly went there because I've been working on a costume for my sister for a few days. She's going to be a sailor, and I'm a big supporter of costumes comprised of clothes you can wear again so I picked her up a cute tank with anchors on it and some navy pumps to finish off a costume we started putting together with stuff from my closet.

Starting Over

I've had a livejournal for nearly 6 years, I try to update chictopia.com as much as possible, but when it came to this blog, I think I just gave up. I don't think anyone ever read it, and why would they have anyways? I'm starting over, and I'm really going to try to commit to it this time around.

Basic introduction: I am a grad student in the social sciences (a first year PhD student to be exact!), I love clothes - especially shoes, I love animals, especially my French bulldog, Amelie, who I just adopted 2 short weeks ago, and I'm a pescaterian, which means that the only meat I eat is fish.

What my goal is for this blog is for it to be more of a lifestyle blog than a fashion blog. Here I will blog about yummy food I made or ate, maybe introduce you to some special people in my life, sometimes mention grievances about grad school life, show off my fashion finds, and of course feature outfits.
